- Rodney Tallman’s pool room and ice cream shop; Heath Hardware (Elmer Heath, proprietor), Emmet and Morita Dixon, still standing – building has been in a state of rehab for the past 2-3 years. It’s not looking so good lately.

- Doc Traul’s House
- The first house in town to enjoy indoor plumbing, installed in the early 1940’s.

- E. A. Heath’s General Store (“May you live long and trade with E. A. Heath”) with one of the town’s 3 public water pumps stationed out front. Has also been a hardware store (operated by Delph Devore and later by his son, Lee), gas station, mini-mart, and fast food joint (still operating), formerly owned by Dave Saxton
- The Middleburg Post Office is part of this building.
- Formerly the Odd Fellows Building (no longer standing)
- The Odd Fellows Building (I. O. O. F) was Middleburg’s last standing tall building. A fine frame structure, it was torn down in the early 21st century, having stood for well over 100 years.
- Was also a grocery store (operated by Ida Sharp Deal, Max and Jeannette Powers, Crit McComb, Emmet and Moreta Dixon, Lee and Mae Osborn, and Rita Hardman. At one time, this was Dr. Traul’s office.
- Today, a drive through operates on this location. It’s a metal building, well-stocked and stafffed by friendly people.
